Royal Mail has officially announced its updated postage price tariffs for 2025, which will come into effect from Monday, 7th April 2025. The new prices affect both stamped and franked mail, and all businesses must be prepared to make a smooth transition.
At Office Fox, we’re here to help you stay ahead of the changes and to make sure you continue to get the best value from your franking machine.
What’s Changing?
Royal Mail has adjusted prices across a range of services, including:
- 1st and 2nd Class Letters (Stamped and Franked)
- Large Letters
- Parcels
- Signed and Special Delivery services
For franking machine users, the 1st Class franked letter rate is increasing to £1.67, and 2nd Class franked letter to 84p. These changes mean that franking continues to offer easy access to discounted postage from Royal Mail, saving up to 20% vs stamps.
